What do these two phases of a new crop picture at Barbury Castle on July
17-18, 2022 show us?
The
geometrical construction used by Archimedes to estimate “pi” in 250 BC,
followed by four turns of “arrows” on the next day
Both new phases were meant to remind us of a four-turn spiral that was
coded for pi = 3.141592654, and drawn in the same field on June 1, 2008:
To understand more deeply, please go to “Archimedes'
Approximation of Pi“
(see
Archimedes Approximation
) then slide the white oval-shaped button to “6” for a
hexagon.
