Frequently Asked Questions
Crop Circle Connector Membership
The Crop Circle Connector Membership is an
important aspect to the running of the site, and we are extremely grateful to everyone who
has decided to join us as we move forward into a new Millennium for the crop circle
phenomenon.
A number of people have asked to identify the Membership
for the Crop Circle Connector, and indeed this was an excellent idea, but we have also
identified the site as well, as we need to clarify who we are, and what we are trying to
produce. Both Mark and myself are always finding new ways to enhance your membership, and
to improve the the overall site with regard to navigation, graphics, and most importantly
the information.
We hope these answers to your most important questions
will provide an understanding to being part of the Crop Circle Connector, and will be an
incentive enough for new people to join us for the 2013 Membership.
We live in exciting times, we would
like you to join us to be part of it!
What is the Crop Circle Connector.
The Crop Circle Connector is the worlds leading
international web site on the crop circle phenomenon.
Does the Mailing List come
by way of post or e-mail.
The Mailing List comes by way for e-mail on a regular
basis. Normally within the summer months you should receive at least 4-5 e-mail updates a
month. It normally depends on how busy a crop circle season can become,
but at least 3 e-mail's should be posted to yourselves within each circle month.
Are there pictures with the
"Connector"?
The Crop Circle Connector has very recently allocated to
our members full exclusive access to the archive database reports from
1978-2012. Non
members will no longer have access to the archives, but members will have a special
username and password to view the many years of crop circling from ourselves and our
numerous contacts.
We have hundreds of aerial and ground shots of Crop
Circles throughout the world since 1978 to the present day, with very informative
reporting incorporating pole shots of the formations.
Are they in colour?
The majority of the images are in colour, probably about
99.9%
Are there articles within
the Crop Circle Connector.
We have many articles regarding the Crop Circles,
theories, scientific and field reports. At the moment there is over 3000 pages on
the Crop Circle Connector.
Why is your site slow at times.
The site does slows down whenever we have many people
visiting the site. On average we have 1000 people a day this time of year rising to 10,000
during the summer. Furthermore it can depend on the user own internet server which is
outside of our own control.
This is the 3rd time I'd tried to join but
I don't know what I'm joining!! I love crop circles but someone has got to look at your
ads, your outreach messages from a distance and articulate and define who you are and what
you're marketing.
The banners help us to pay for the huge costs on running
one of the biggest home pages on the web. With the subscriptions and banners we are just
managing to stay online. Until we find some major funding, this type of money raising is
necessary, otherwise we may not survive.
Your address...your international address
doesn't even have the country!! Is it UK? Scotland? Republic of Ireland?
The Crop Circle Connector is located in London, England
(UK). We live in Bristol only an hour journey to the heart of the Crop Circle sites. Yes,
we are very lucky to live so close to the action, and indeed we couldn't have produced
such a site without living in a prime location to the crop circles.
So I'm now a member. What does that
mean?
A regular update of what is on the Crop Circle
Connector, which would include reports on new formations as they appear, plus
updated existing reports. Articles and conferences will also be incorporated.
The URL address to each individual updated page will be included on the Mailing
List. All these benefits support in helping us to maintain the Crop Circle Connector web site
which is the main reason for the subscription. The membership also provides
yourselves access to the largest pictorial database of crop circles on the World
Wide Web. Plus if you have a home page we will
feature it with a link increasing your chances of more visitors, which
ultimately would increase your sales, if you have a product relating to the
phenomenon.
What comes in the mail?
There is no postal mail, you will receive every thing via
e-mail, but we do ask people to include their postal addresses as whenever a member's
email bounces back to us undelivered, we send a postcard to contract them asking if they
lost their email account or have changed it, so we can update with the new address.
