The Yin-Yang-Yang formation which is on the side of the hill overlooking
the Avebury Avenue, which appeared in oilseed rape (canola) on the 8th
of May.
Because I shot the picture after the standing plants had lost their
yellow flowers, but while the downed plants were still struggling to
grow, the design is yellow against a sea of green. (I got the same
effect last year with the Oliver's Castle formation.)
I went into the formation near Avebury that I call the Yin/Yang/Yang
several days ago (and brother, did I get COVERED with pollen!), and
then yesterday I went to the top of the hill to shoot a pan shot of
it.
I really like it -- I think it is really cosmic -- and the yellow
rapeseed flowers are blazingly beautiful! I'm going to do a carving
of it in fact.
