Here is a shot I got of the Cherhill
Star & Crescents yesterday, that shows the spectacularly beautiful colours in the
surrounding landscape.
The yellow field is flax, while the circle itself is in wheat. The variegated colours are
caused by water running down from the steep hills (out of sight directly under helicopter)
and washing nutrients into the fields below.
This is the most beautiful such sight in my seven seasons of documenting the circles!
