My pilot friend Dai Dobbs sent me some aerial shots of the Weyland Smithy formation (near the Uffington white horse), which appeared in wheat on the 27th of July.  It is the largest formation of the summer so far, and only a few formations in the past have had more circles. There are nasty streaks of damage running through the field, so my main job in PhotoShop was to clean up the places where these interfered with the circles.
