Rotating the square in the puzzling Woodborough Hill design, results in just one nice alignment, but with other frustrating near misses.  Ninety degree rotations are even less satisfying, unfortunately.   

I did this manipulation with PhotoShop, of course.  Non-linear lens distortions which are not apparent in the original image made it very nearly impossible to perform this apparently simple rotation, so I had to resort to a bit of cheating -- never the less, the result is essentially correct.  (Based on idea by Paul Vigay.)
