Reconstruction of the
2020 Easton Clump formation

1. Draw a circle. Draw the horizontal and vertical centerlines.

2. Construct the inscribed nonagon (regular 9-sided polygon) of circle 1, pointing up.

3. Construct the inscribed circle of nonagon 2.

4. Construct the inscribed hexagon (regular 6-sided polygon) of circle 3, pointing up.

5. Draw the connecting line between the upper lefthand and righthand angular points of hexagon 4.

6. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 5.

7. Construct the inscribed square of circle 6, with horizontal and vertical sides.

8. Construct the inscribed circle of square 7.

9. Draw the connecting line between the lefthand and righthand angular points of nonagon 2, just above the horizontal centerline.

10. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to line 9.

11. Construct a circle centered at the righthand intersection of circle 6 and the horizontal centerline, tangent to circle 8 at the righthand side.

12. Copy circle 11 to the center of circle 1.

13. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 10 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 12 at the upper side.

14. Copy circle 13 to the upper intersection of circle 8 and the vertical centerline.

15. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 14 at the lower side.

16. Construct a "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersections of circles 10 and 15 with the vertical centerline.

17. Construct a "two-points" circle between the upper intersections of circles 8 and 15 with the vertical centerline.

18. Copy circle 16 to the center of circle 17.

19. Construct a circle centered at the upper intersection of circle 18 and the vertical centerline, tangent to circle 14 at the upper side.

20. Construct a circle concentric to circle 18, tangent to circle 19 at the upper side.

21. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 17.

22. Construct the inscribed octagon (regular 8-sided polygon) of circle 21, pointing up.

23. Copy circles 18 and 20 together seven times, to the other angular points of octagon 22.

24. Draw the connecting line between the center of circle 1 and the upper righthand angular point of square 7.

25. Construct a "two-points" circle between the intersections of circles 10 and 12 with line 24.

26. Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the center of circle 25.

27. Construct the inscribed square of circle 26, with horizontal and vertical sides.

28. Copy circles 18 and 20 together four times, to the angular points of square 27.

29. Circles 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 12, 15, 18, 20, 23, and 28, are used for the final reconstruction.

30. Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.

31. Colour all areas corresponding to standing...

32. ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2020 Easton Clump formation.

33. The final result, matched with the aerial image.
