Reconstruction of the 2017 The White Horse formation | ||
| 1. |
| Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines. |
| 2. |
| Construct the inscribed square of circle 1, pointing up. |
| 3. |
| Construct the inscribed square of circle 1, with the sides parallel to the horizontal and vertical centerlines. |
| 4. |
| Construct a circle centered at the mid-point of the lower side of square 3, passing through the nearest righthand intersection of squares 2 and 3. |
| 5. |
| Copy circle 4 four times, to the center of circle 1, and to the mid-points of the other sides of square 3. |
| 6. |
| Construct the inscribed equilateral triangle of circle 1, pointing down. |
| 7. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, tangent to the lefthand and righthand sides of triangle 6. |
| 8. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, passing through the righthand intersection of the lower side of square 3 and triangle 6. |
| 9. |
| Copy circles 7 and 8 four times, to the centers of circles 5. |
| 10. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, passing through the righthand intersection of triangle 6 and the horizontal centerline. |

| Copy circle 10 to the center of circle 4. |
| 12. |
| Construct a circle concentric to circle 4, tangent to the smaller central circle 9 at the lower side, as shown. |
| 13. |
| Construct the inscribed regular 21-sided polygon of circle 11, pointing up. |
| 14. |
| Construct a circle centered at the lowest lefthand angular point of polygon 13, tangent to the vertical centerline. |
| 15. |
| Copy circle 14 six times, three to the adjacent lefthand and three to the adjacent righthand angular points of polygon 13. |
| 16. |
| Construct the "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the lower intersections of circles 7 and 8 with the vertical centerline. |
| 17. |
| Copy circle 16 to the center of circle 4. |
| 18. |
| Copy circle 16 to the upper lefthand intersection of the leftmost circle 15 and circle 11, and move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own corresponding intersection. See detail. |

| Copy circle 16 to the upper righthand intersection of the rightmost circle 15 and circle 11, and move this circle to its own corresponding intersection. See detail. |

| Construct two parallel lines, tangent to circles 17 and 18 at both sides. |

| Construct two parallel lines, tangent to circles 17 and 19 at both sides. |

| Copy circle 16 to its upper intersection with the vertical centerline, and move this circle to its own corresponding intersection. |
| 23. |
| Copy circle 16 to the upper intersection of circle 22 and the vertical centerline, and move this circle to its own corresponding intersection. |

| Construct two circles concentric to circle 16, tangent to circles 22 and 23 at the upper sides. |

| Copy circles 16 and 24 four times, to the centers of circle 4 and outer circles 5, as shown. See detail. |

| Construct two times six parallel lines, parallel to the horizontal and vertical centerlines, tangent to circles 25 at both sides, as shown. See detail. |
