Reconstruction of the 2017 Space Science Centre formation
1. | Draw a circle. Draw and extend the horizontal and vertical centerlines.
2. | Construct the inscribed square of circle 1, pointing up.
3. | Construct the inscribed circle of square 2.
4. | Repeat steps 2 and 3 six times: Construct the inscribed square of circle 3, pointing up.
5. | Construct the inscribed circle of square 4.
6. | Construct the inscribed square of circle 5, pointing up.
7. | Construct the inscribed circle of square 6.
8. | Construct the inscribed square of circle 7, pointing up.
9. | Construct the inscribed circle of square 8.
10. | Construct the inscribed square of circle 9, pointing up.
11. | Construct the inscribed circle of square 10.
12. | Construct the inscribed square of circle 11, pointing up.
13. | Construct the inscribed circle of square 12.
14. | Construct the inscribed square of circle 13, pointing up.
15. | Construct the inscribed circle of square 14.
16. | Construct the "two-points" circle (defined by the two end-points of a centerline) between the upper intersections of circles 13 and 15 with the vertical centerline.
17. | Copy circle 16 to the top of square 2, and move this circle (copy and delete original) to its own lower intersection with the vertical centerline.
18. | Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 17 at the lower side.
19. | Copy circles 13 and 15 to the center of circle 17. See detail.
20. | Copy circles 13 and 15 three more times, to the corresponding positions with respect to the other angular points of square 2.
21. | Construct the "two-points" circle between the center of circle 16 and its lower intersection with the vertical centerline.
22. | Copy circle 21 to the top of square 4.
23. | Construct a circle concentric to circle 1, tangent to circle 22 at the lower side. See detail.
24. | Construct the "two-points" circle between the center of circle 22 and its lower intersection with the vertical centerline.
25. | Copy circle 24 four times, to the angular points of square 4. See detail.
26. | Construct two pairs of parallel lines, parallel to the horizontal and vertical centerlines respectively, tangent to circles 25, all at both sides. See detail.
27. | Circles 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 18, 19, 20, and 23, and lines 26, are used for the final reconstruction.
28. | Remove all parts not visible within the formation itself.
29. | Colour all areas corresponding to standing...
30. | ...or to flattened crop, and finish the reconstruction of the 2017 Space Science Centre formation.
31. | The final result, matched with the aerial image. |
