A crop picture near Tolyatti in Russia on July 21, 2015 showed a schematic image of Venus and Jupiter in the constellation Leo on the same day, and also showed an image of a “serpent” descending the Pyramid of Kukulkan, symbolic of Quetzalcoatl’s return 

A crop picture near Tolyatti in Russia on July 21, 2015 (see crop-circles-russia-tolyatti) was rather simple in form, consisting of just 5 well-defined circles and some intervening lines. Yet it showed many interesting features with regard to its placement in the nearby landscape.  

Franklin Thomson has already made insightful comments, regarding the possible relevance to this crop picture to “chambers” from the Great Pyramid in Egypt (see Togliatti comments). Here we will present and discuss several other kinds of meaningful symbolism.  

Right away, we can see that it resembles a schematic image of Earth’s night sky on July 21, 2015, when two bright planets Venus and Jupiter were passing through the constellation Leo:  

Because this schematic image appears almost vertical in the sky as seen from Earth, it seems to resemble a zig-zag shape where Venus is “descending”.  

When we look on Google Earth to see where this crop picture was drawn, we can see that it appeared just to the left of a “lion” or “sphinx” shape in the landscape, symbolic of the constellation Leo, where Venus and Jupiter were located on that day:  

It also seems to be located near the base of a large 45^o-90^o-45^o “triangle” in the landscape, which looks like a “pyramid”. 

When we study the same image from a different visual perspective, after rotating clockwise by 90^o, we can see two adjoining right-angle triangles in the landscape there: one of relative size 2, and the other of relative size 3 (marked with red outlines):  

We can also see a large “serpent” shape, who seems to be “descending” along the right-hand side of that large 3 triangle.  

This combined landscape image of “pyramid and serpent” calls to mind a similar symbolic feature at the Pyramid of Kukulkan in Chichen Itza. It was built by the Mayans around 900 AD, in order to anticipate Quetzalcoatl’s future “return from the sky” as an extra-terrestrial visitor and teacher.  

Within the Toylatti crop picture, we can see 2 thin lines drawn parallel to large circles near the top, or 3 thin lines drawn perpendicular to large circles near the bottom. These subtle details match the relative sizes of two large landscape “triangles” which have been outlined in red, and suggest that we have understood the crop artist’s intent correctly.  

Further study using Google Earth, not shown here, reveals a very large “serpent” shape on the left. He seems to be “looking at” both outlined red triangles.  

The number of circles which were drawn in this crop picture might represent some unit of time, for example “5 months” or “5 years”, before Quetzalcoatl (Kukulkan) actually returns.
