At Green Street there were many complex overlays of fallen crop, going
in different directions. Some plants in standing crop, just outside of
the formation, were bent sharply 3 to 6 inches off the ground, in a
fashion which could not have been achieved mechanically using rope and
boards. There was also a complex pattern of fallen plants near the
centre, where three concentric circles of plants were laid down
clockwise, anti-clockwise, then clockwise again, when going into the
centre. At the very centre, plants were splayed out radically in all
360o directions.
